Thanks for the insights Sambo and welcome to the forums ! This thread is a bit old to drag up, but the hunting forum has been dormant too long. Good to have someone with some experience in it.

yeah we love doing it down here in texas (hunting hogs with dogs) My friends and I usually take them out of the woods alive. You just get the dogs on the pig and then you go in and "leg" it. (grab the back legs and flip it on it's side) then you hold it down with a knee in it's throat and one in it's side. Then all you got to do is hobble it's legs and then you walk or carry it out. YEEEHAAA, it sure is fun to hunt something that will try to kill you back!!!
