setting up my B&T as a neck knife - Tuesday, November 07, 2017 8:21 PM ( #1 )
While I appreciate the supplied bead chain for the Bird and Trout to use as a necklace for the knife I prefer to use paracord. I add in snap breaks so I don't strangle myself if something goes wrong, turned out great IMO.

The problem with downloading pix is the size of the file usually. Click on: open full version of quick reply. you may attach files. Then you will see where you can choose 3 pix and then download them. The pix you want to download must met the following criteria-jpg/gif/bmp/txt are supported; Max. 200 kB. Try downloading your 3 pix first and if they don't download successfully you probably need to down size them. To do that: Right click on the picture then click on Edit(This is Paint). At the top you will see resize, click on it. Here is where you need to experiment with the reduction amount to get the right sizing for downloading, just plug in a figure ie 60 in the horizontal box(it automatically does both horz.& vert. boxes. And then close it and when the prompt comes up to save or not, save it. Try the download again with the reduced size until it takes it. After a while you will get a feel for it. The big sites like EBay, Craigslist etc take the pix full size so no reduction is needed usually. Blade Forums is pretty good too after you pay them. I hope this helps, let me know how it works for you, not a computer guy so there may be a better way but this works for me.

The file is still to big, try reducing it again until it downloads.

I did, at first use a file that was too big, and then I reduced one down to well under the 200kb size limit (77kb) and only tried to attach just that one and it still failed. To be honest I am over wasting my time on this. I'll just not worry about it mate and thanks for trying to help with this.

You are welcome, sorry not much of a teacher when it comes to computers. I have a real love/hate relationship with my computer.
