Kukri regrind - Monday, October 16, 2017 3:57 AM ( #1 )
I compared my kukris and my Nepalese one came out quite bad. http://coldsteelforums....34&high=kukri+comparison I have been busy regrinding it with an angle grinder and thinning out the enormous thick edge. I cool a lot in water so the steel does not loose it's hardness. One side done. It isn't perfect nor fancy but I hope it'll do it's job better. The rest of the blade needs some more cleaning, but first the edge.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Thanks guys!

I'm well content with the result considering the grinding was done by hand with an angle grinder.
