new CS catalog - Monday, April 03, 2017 6:06 PM ( #1 )
I got my CS catalog (No. 48 2017) in the mail. It's loaded with awesome stuff. Every new catalog seems to take it to a new level of awesomeness! I've said it before and I'll say it again: I hope they never stop printing and mailing these babies.

I notice the SMIII Natchez bowie is gone, but the Trail Master, Gurkha Kukri and Laredo are still being advertised in SMIII. I'd thought they were phasing out all the SMIII versions because SMIII was too difficult to obtain? Perhaps it was just the SMIII Natchez.

Did the new catalog include a proof DVD?

SMIII Natchez has been disco'd for 2 or 3 years now. The Proof DVDs care done on about a 4 year cycle .. minimum 3yrs.

It's showing no medium Espada. All Mini and XL Recon 1's are gone too!

I'm really interested in the Drop Forged Survivalist. I'd love to get it out at the ranch and see how it does.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Some of the folders have new textured handles. They felt fine to me as is. Rajah Ii and XL Counter Point.

Does anyone know when the Special Projects catalog will be mailed out?

I like that one too. And also can't wait to try out the Black Bear Bowie Machete.

I would like to get my hands on the drop forged series. I can't seem to get an idea of how they would feel in the hand from the pictures.
