The O-1s have this new grip version as well. I dig it a lot. IMHO much better than the "checked" pattern.

Jlauffer, I have a slight correction for this thread. When checking the catalogs I noticed that the SM III Recon Scout had a Securex sheath in the first year it was released (2007), the next years 2008 and on it has a Cordura sheath.

Thanks Rowan...I have corrected the Recon Scout post, as well as updated it to include the O-1 model.  Also added the O-1 TM.

I'm glad I have made a small contribution to your excellent topic. Also fun to know some of you will be actively hunting for a SMIII Recon Scout with a securex sheath, grin.
