Illegal Border Crossing

I was down near the Texas/Mexico border visiting a friend when I saw a fundamentalist Muslim extremist fall into the Rio Grande River this morning. He was struggling to stay afloat because of all the guns and bombs that he was carrying. Along with him was an illegal Mexican drug cartel member who was also struggling to stay afloat because of the large backpack of drugs that was strapped to his back. I knew if they didn't get help soon, they'd surely drown. Being a responsible Snowbird, and abiding by the law to help those in distress, I informed both the El Paso County Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security. It is now 4 pm, both have drowned, and neither authority has responded. I'm starting to think I wasted two stamps.
Sturgeon's Law "90% of everything is Crap" Real heroes don't wear capes, they wear dog tags. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote. -Benjamin Franklin Imhoff's Law: The organization of any bureaucracy is very much like a septic tank ... the really big chunks always rise to the top. God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference

HAH!!
Feel free to correct me on anything that i have said. Strength is not found in the ability to fight, it's found in deciding WHEN to fight. The goal isn't to own all the toys in the world, it's to play with them all.
