G.I. tanto handle re-wrapping tutorial. Please post one.

It's surprising to find none on the internet. The only results from hours googling is one man's bait-and-switch site to show off his knife's custom paint-job, and a post on this forum suggesting an alternative handle-wrap intended for the bushman...which is inapplicable to the g.i. tanto. Someone please post a diagram for the factory handle-wrap.

The construction is the same for the gi tanto as true flight thrower. The only thing you'd need to consider is if the tanto has a kydex sheath. Here's how to wrap a tff: http://www.aaawebmaster.com/knife/knife.htm

Actually, the two are very dissimilar.

The basic technique would be the same. The gi, shanghai shadow, and tff all have a solid handle with holes to pass the cord/screws through. I didn't mean the style was the same.

reason for editing: I give up. Just another experience of the ineptitude of the knife community at-large once again keeping evergreen the proverb "If you want something done right, do it yourself." I figured out the factory-wrap technique, but I'm not posting it. Thanks a lot.

I don't own a GI Tanto yet but I've tried my hand at wrapping my Newt knives before.
