That has to be one of the best small B.O.B videos I have seen yet. Thanks for bringing it to light.

good vids.  I've been thinking about making one of my kit.  I'm going to suggest checking out Wilderness outfitters and archery on YouTube.  He's got some great stuff and Dave is going to be picked up by discovery for a new survival show.

Just a shout out to other brown coats

Good videos and good ideas.  I also include more ways to signal (Large reflective blanket that is bright orange on one side),  Thin gloves can make a lot of survival chores easier when it gets colder,  more food, a couple extra bars can make a huge difference.

Thanks for the videos. Some good ideas in both of them. I've been needing to redo mine and make another one.

I'm a fan of Dave canturbery glad you enjoyed BigJoe.  Brown coats - a reference for watchnovru's quote.  If you don't get it check out the movie Serenity or TV series Firefly.  Very possibly the best series ever made, then sadly canceled.

I am looking into one of those little lights.  Those look pretty cool to me.

Best I could find was on Amazon for around $30 shipped so this will be another wait for payday item.

This is a good video, thanks for posting it xxo!

I have been a fan of the Firefly series since before it was the Serenity movie.  If you haven't seen the very short, complete run of the show, then seek out the DVDs or Blu-rays or of it as soon as you can because they too were a limited run and the Browncoats, what us fans call ourselves, are everywhere...

We may need to start a firefly post on here.  Anyone should check out the series, I was also a fan before the movie ever came out, actually managed to follow some of it when it was on T.V. the first time around.  Check it out Blue ray there's a cool specials feature of interviews with River and a shrink before she's rescued by Simon.

As for the kits and lights I'm still using a good old minimaglight  Works great and got an LED conversion kit.

My little Petzl light came today and I really like it a lot.  Best $29 I ever spent.  It comes in the little water proof container like he shows in the video  a clip to put it on the visor of a ball cap and a lanyard.  The slider on the lanyard is a little, very loud, whistle.  Like I say, it is a sweet light.  Thanks for posting the video xxo...

No power in the 'verse can stop a Browncoat.  The question is, which CS blade would YOU use against a Reaver?

I'm pretty sure Jain would go with a Natchez and we saw the kind of tools River used but I think against a Reaver I'd pick something light, fast and hard hitting.  I'm thinking a trail hawk and something else or two wakizashi.
