Received one yesterday and it's a beaut, got a cracking deal on it too considering it was brand new in box unused. I'll take some snaps later :)

The black sable is an awesome knife. Love the blade style on it, looks deadly as hell.

Suprised they discontinued it to be fair lovely blade, although I guess a lot of people were put off by the price. Get what you pay for generally with Cold Steel.

IMO the "Custom Series" were my favorite knives CS ever made,im scared they may come back and ruin em.I can picture it now bead blasted, tri ad locked, grivory handled

If we ever see them again I have a feeling that is going to be EXACTLY what will happen,I only managed to get 3 and one I dont have anymore, they only thing missing from those knives were snaggers, only the Talwar had one and that is the sole reason I love it the most,If the Calladonian Edge had a snagger that would be the one I like best

hey puk nice buy.as Ive said before my black sable is my first love.I've had it for over 10 years.stll carry it to church on sunday.the blade was designed for the snapcut and it performs it well.love that knife.I think in an older proof video they were hanging several on a jungle gym apparatus and the young fella was hanging on them going hand over hand back and forth.if you get what I mean.

I want one of these so badly.  Doesn't look like it will be happening for me any time soon.

It really is a beautiful configuration. I'd love a less expensive G-10 version. Like with the Espada series.

I hope they bring them back, and with nothing more than the locks changed to the Triad (which they will certainly do, if they bring the Customs back). I can finally just start to afford them now, and they're gone.

I just couldn't afford it when it was out and it made me sad. It was just a really comfortable knife in the hand, and that's almost more important than the materials used, or the locking style. If it's uncomfortable to use, you aren't going to use it.
